Minimum stay of 2 nights is required.

Privacy Policy

Reservations for accommodation are accepted by Sanctum boutique Apartments, 156 Harrington street, 7000 (“the Booking Agent’) as agent for the owner of the property and to which bookings the below terms and conditions shall apply. Any information provided by you remains confidential for your booking purposes with Sanctum only.

Photographic Identification

When you check in you may be asked to provide Photographic Identification. If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled and you may be liable to pay us an amount equal to the full reservation amount plus any other costs incurred by us in connection with your reservation.

Security Requirement

Please Note: You must provide credit card authorisation on check in. The authorisation may be used to cover incidental items including but not limited to damages, breakages or cleaning charges in excess of the normal use. No charges would be made on your card without prior notification.

Check-In/Check-Out

Sanctum Boutique Apartments are available from 2:00pm on the day of arrival and is to be vacated by 10:00am on the day of departure. Late checkouts can often be agreed. Non-agreed late checkouts are charged at $50 per hour.

Upon Departure

Main house key that was taken out of the lock box upon arrival must be placed back in the lock box upon departure, extra keys to be left on the dining table. Front and rear doors must be locked.

Insurance

The Booking Agent recommends that the Guest takes out comprehensive holiday cancellation and protection insurance with a reputable insurance company to cater for any unforeseen circumstances which may arise including accident, ill health or any other matters beyond the Guest’s reasonable control, as once the booking is confirmed and receipted, the Guest will be responsible for payment of the full rental.

General

Cleaning: Additional services are available on request and will incur a service charge. Non-Smoking: By law all of our accommodation is non-smoking indoors; additional cleaning charges will apply at $50 per hour for evidence of smoking indoors.

Keys: Please notify us immediately should you lose the House key. Please contact us on 0407720447. There is a fee of $300 for replacing a lost key.

Noise: Excessive noise is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. Any unreasonable noise after 10pm will result in immediate eviction.

Parties: The neighbour locality of Sanctum boutique apartments is not suitable for parties. Please enjoy your stay however be aware we have a strict no parties’ policy.

Conducting a business: The permit issued to Sanctum Boutique Apartments is for Visitor Accommodation only, guests are not permitted to operate any type of business to earn a profit from our accommodation premises. ‘If we have reason to believe our guests are conducting a business from our accommodation premises the guests will be requested to leave our accommodation premises and any remaining nights paid for in advance will be forfeited’.

Guest Property: All personal belongings, baggage, vehicles and other property of the Guest of any description shall be the risk of the Guest at all times and neither the Booking Agent nor the owner accepts any responsibility for any loss or damage thereto.

Breakages and Damages: We appreciate that Sanctum boutique apartments will be returned to us in the condition presented on arrival. Any excessive cleaning required or garbage removal will incur additional charges at $50 per hour. Damages or breakages greater than fair wear and tear are charged at replacement cost.

Maintenance: For reasons of safety we reserve the right to enter the property to repair any fault.

Internet: Free dedicated broadband Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout Sanctum boutique apartments. The password for your stay will be given to you on arrival.

Liabilities: No responsibility is taken for personal items left on the premises during or after departure. Sanctum boutique apartments does not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control (including natural disasters). We do not accept liability for error omissions, default or negligence represented on our website. Sanctum Boutique Apartments does not accept liability for changes made due to renovation, alteration and refurbishing of the property. We endeavor to keep our website updated at all times. Rates are subject to change without notice.

 

Disclaimer

Stairs to the master bedroom, in the three bedroom apartment (Sussex House) are particularly steep given the period of the building; this room is therefore not suitable for people with mobility issues. There are two queen bedrooms located on the ground floor with all other facilities. Sanctum Boutique Apartments descriptions are made in good faith. No responsibility can be taken for alleged misrepresentation.

Bookings/Payments

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking. Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received and you have read and agreed to our terms and conditions.

Sussex house sleeps a maximum of 6 guests and The Forge sleeps a maximum of 2 guests; prices are based on two adults only. Extra adult is $50, children (2 – 12) years $25, infants (under 2 years) are free. A porta cot and high chair can be supplied by prior arrangement in advance at a cost of $20 per stay.

Changes to Accommodation Booking

We will do our best to accommodate any unforeseen date changes, however changes are subject to availability. Please refer below to our cancellation policy for further details.

The guest agrees that the accommodation is booked only for the number of people actually stated on the Booking confirmation. Any additional people will be charged. The guest gives Sanctum boutique apartments the authority to charge the customer’s credit card for any additional guests.

Name Change

If you can’t come on your booking dates, we are happy for you to sell or gift your booking to someone else. No charge.

We may use third-party service providers to process your personal information on our behalf for the purposes of this booking. For example, we may share someone information about you with these third parties so that they can contact you directly by email (for example; to obtain post stay reviews about your travel experience).

Cancellations

Guests may cancel their reservation up to 30 days prior to their scheduled arrival date without penalty. Guests should notify the property via email or phone. 

Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date will forfeit the 50% deposit which was processed upon booking to secure the reservation.

Cancellation within 24 hours or failure to arrive for your booking will incur a 100% cancellation fee and you will be required to pay to the full amount of your booking less any deposits which have already been paid.

Guests who have booked via travel agents or third parties are advised to contact their booking provider for assistance and/or information on their policies should they need to amend or cancel their booking.
